Energy Healing 101 Practice Summary
Daily Practices for Energy Alignment & Healing
Welcome to your personal guide to the exercises taught during the Energy Healing 101
Workshop. Each of these techniques is designed to help you realign, balance, and
enhance your energy systems. You can use them in any combination that feels right to
you. Trust your intuition and experiment - the more you practice, the more effective
they become.
Important Note About Energy Work
Energy is habitual. If your energetic systems have been out of balance for some time,
it's normal for it to take 3-4 weeks of daily practice to create and stabilize new, healthy
energy pathways in the body. Be patient and consistent. The good news? You can't
overdo energy healing!
EXERCISES:
Expand your light (Meditation / Visualization)
Imagine a soft, glowing candle flame in the centre of your belly. Feel the warmth of its
light. Using your breath, expand the radiant light so that it fills your entire body. Feel
the energy within all of your cells. Using your imagination and your breath, continue to
expand the light from within so that it goes beyond your body. Experiment to see how
far you can send the glow, energy and warmth of your radiant light. Rest in this energy
until you are ready to bring it back into the body.

Breath Work
Turn on your parasympathetic nervous system (rest, repair, restore) by doing intentional
breathing. Send the breath to your belly. Feel it expand with each inhalation and feel it
relax with each exhalation. Use a count of 1-2-3 for the inhalation, add a pause at the
top of the breath and extend the exhalation longer such as 1-2-3-4-5. Repeat at least
10 cycles or more for maximum relaxing benefit. Will diffuse stress or anxious feelings.
If you tend to wake up in the night with a busy mind, repeat this pattern of breathing until
you feel the loosening of your thoughts. You will likely drift back to sleep during this
practice.

Energy Ball Exercise
This is a wonderful exercise to practice feeling energy with your hands. In fact, you can
use this practice to activate your hands before any other energy exercise such as
tracing meridians, spinal flush or placing your hands anywhere on your body.
• Stand or sit comfortably
• Relax shoulders, soften jaw, gentle smile
• Focus on your lower dantian (just below navel)
• Breathe slowly - in and out through the nose
• Hold your hands like you're holding a Qi ball - palms facing, about 6 inches apart
• Feel warmth, tingling, or subtle energy
• Let your body move subtly if it wants, stay in the flow for 1-3 minutes
Qi Gong exercises
1. Bouncing (Feet firmly planted on the ground in semi-wide stance and with soft
knees. Gently bounce. Effective for grounding, centering, and turns on soul
energy system)
2. Face Wipe (Using the pointer and middle fingers of each hand start at the sides
of the nose and trace a heart shape over the face. Lowers stress levels,
connects with energy acupoints on the face to restore balanced emotions.
Soothing, fresh start and new perspective)
3. Pulling the ears (Start at top of the outer ears and move along the edge until
reaching the lobes. Repeat nine times. Improves concentration and focus,
creates space to retain new information, and balances entire energy body as it is
fully mapped on the ear.)
Energy Medicine Exercises
1. The 4 thumps
a. Stomach (under cheek bones. Grounding, reduces worry)
b. Kidney K-27 (pull fingers from corner of inner collarbone down about an
inch, use all fingers while thumping. Excellent for increasing energy levels
and vitality, bring yourself out of an energy slump. Improves concentration)
c. Thymus (thump over middle of breastbone. Turns on the immune system)
d. Spleen (gorilla points or along side of body where bra crosses side of ribs.
Bolsters immune system and metabolism, balances blood sugar, lifts
energy level)
2. 3. 4. Wayne Cook Posture (Cross legs and arms in both directions, finish with fingers
from both hands connected and hold at heart or third eye, total of 15 breaths.
Relieves the sensation of overwhelm and brings a sense of calm. Excellent for
when you need clarity, focus, concentration, and control over your emotions.
Ideal if you feel scrambled.)

The Zip-Up (Using both hands, trace the front midline of the body from pubic
bone to just below lower lip. Do 3 times. Add a positive affirmation with each
trace. Improves confidence, clears your thoughts and protects from negative
energies.)
The Hook-up (Using the middle fingers, place one in the belly button and the
other between the eyebrows. Press slightly in and up. Hold for 12 - 30 seconds.
Use to relieve anxiety, centering and calming. Strengthens aura.)

Future Self Visualization
Take 5 minutes when you get up in the morning and before bed:
• Close your eyes, breathe deeply into the heart
• Visualize your future self living your ideal day or life
• What are you doing? How does it feel?
Feel elevated emotions such as gratitude, joy, and freedom now
• Optional: Write a short vision starting with:
"I am so grateful that I am..."
My body feels..
My heart is open..
The most important step is to feel the elevated emotions while you are in the state of
realizing the movie, image and reality of your Future Self.

This is information that Energy Intuitive Anne Keddie shared for audience members in our Energy 101 Workshop. It also includes some qigong tips too. Anne and I will be sharing another workshop in the later fall. Remember, the more we work with energy the more aligned we are. You can pick one and do it daily as a ritual in your day. Let us know how you feel it goes.
