HOW TO: sit or stand straight. Stretch your neck forward, move your chin down, and then tuck it back towards your chest.
Now, guide your chin up your chest - imagine you are holding a golf ball - until your head is back at the starting point. This is done in a continuous circular motion and should only take a few seconds

A major and wise energy channel comes up from our spine and forms a narrow passage atop the top of your shoulders where your neck starts.
Keeping this channel open balances energy in your neck, helps relieve stress buildup, tense shoulders, headaches, and blocked flow of energy up into your brain.

How are those PEEPS? 👀We spend a lot of time looking at screens. This can create eye strain and eye fatigue.

Let's help this each day with a simple Qigong exercise.

How: use your middle finger to massage, in a circular fashion, the point in the centre of your forehead directly between your eyebrows and just above the bridge of your nose. You can add the chanting sound of "kerrrrr" if comfortable.

How long: 2 minute more more, especially if you can't sleep.

How often: as needed. best time: 11 am to 1 pm or 9 to 11 pm

According to book Head to Toe Healing, this point connects to your eyes and to specific parts of your brain. Massaging here can bring peace if your brain has been overactive.

How are those PEEPS? 👀We spend a lot of time looking at screens. This can create eye strain and eye fatigue.

Let's help this each day with a simple Qigong exercise.

How: use your middle finger to massage, in a circular fashion, the point in the centre of your forehead directly between your eyebrows and just above the bridge of your nose. You can add the chanting sound of "kerrrrr" if comfortable.

How long: 2 minute more more, especially if you can't sleep.

How often: as needed. best time: 11 am to 1 pm or 9 to 11 pm

According to book Head to Toe Healing, this point connects to your eyes and to specific parts of your brain. Massaging here can bring peace if your brain has been overactive.

Help your Lung Energy System through this spring forest qigong exercise:

You take a deep breath to see how much your sinuses are open and exhale and then you open your left arm palm facing up and cup down from the shoulder to the wrist

Do it firmly five Seconds each time
Do left arm first left arm and then do right arm

You put your hands down and take another deep breath and focus on your sinuses and see how much more they are open.

You will notice your lungs and sinuses are much more open. The skin belongs to the breathing system and many channels are in inside part of arm connecting to chest and lungs and heart and when you cup inside part of arm the skin belongs to breathing system and you help to stimulate energy flow in your system. More room for air and this helps your sinuses and breathing.

This is the time of year when many people are overthinking and feeling stressed with busyness. The brain is connected to the gut so issues with constipation, digestive problems, diarrhea and gas can occur.

The corners of your mouth have energy points connecting to your large intestines and digestive system so this is what I am tapping here.

How to help with this:

I shared that you can use your index and middle fingers to gently pat these areas for 30 seconds and you can add chanting sound of ‘whooooo’ but you don’t have to do so.

Other way to do it before patting:

Helping September start more peacefully with mini wellness BREATH breaks. Let's calm any STRESS with a qigong breathing technique.

You inhale through the nose, taking about five seconds, and then exhale through your mouth as slowly as you comfortably can. Silently and softly chanting the sound of seeeeee if you would like but you don't need to do so.

You can do for two to three minutes and as often as needed.

Best time: in morning after you get up and before you meditate

This is a S.F.Q. Exercise strengthening the circulation of your HEART. ❤️ We always bring in emotions in our ONLINE Movement Medicine Sessions and the emotion connected to the heart is JOY which helps us move those challenging emotions like jealousy and hatred.

HOW: You clap your hands 9 times. You cup inside of left elbow 9 times and then the right elbow nine times and then use right hand to cup inside your arm pit 9 times and then the right side. You can do these group of 3 movements 8 more times. 9 in total is great for this system.

You can do three times a day if you need extra care in this area.

Best time: between 11 a.m and 1 p.m. but do when you will do it.

We know the heart is on duty in Chinese Medicine, and here is a exercise to help with the following challenges:

Menstrual and muscle cramps
Heart problems
Stroke recovery
High blood pressure
High cholesterol

This point has a strong connection to your heart and to your brain. Massaging here can also help menstrual and muscle cramps.

How to do it:

Curve your middle finger, touch your palm, and note the spot. Then firmly massage that spot with the thumb of your other hand. If you have trouble finding the spot, just massage the area in your palm between the bones of your index finger and middle fingers.

How long?
Two minutes on each hand starting on your left

How often
A couple times a day to help heal your heart and has often has feels good for cramps you may have.
