New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aquarius

February 17, 2026 – A Cosmic Reset

On February 17th at 7:01 PM EST, we experience a New Moon in Aquarius — and this one is no ordinary New Moon. It is also a Solar Eclipse, amplifying its energy and accelerating change. At the same time, we are moving through the Lunar New Year of the Fire Horse, adding another layer of bold, forward-moving momentum. I share Feng Shui tips to bring in new energy on my website.

Many astrologers and spiritual teachers are speaking about the potency of this time. With both Neptune and Saturn moving into 0 degrees Aries, we are standing at the edge of a completely new cycle. This is initiation energy; and with this level of intensity, it becomes even more important to ground your nervous system and stay rooted in your body.

Eclipse Energy: Individuality and the Collective

This Solar Eclipse begins a Leo–Aquarius eclipse cycle, activating themes around:

  • Individuality and authentic self-expression

  • Community and collective responsibility

  • The balance between "who I truly am and how I show up in the world"

Aquarius governs friendships, social circles, group dynamics, and our place in society. Over the coming weeks — and even the next six months — you may notice shifts in these areas.

This eclipse may illuminate:

  • Where connections no longer feel aligned

  • Where you have been dimming your authenticity

  • Where growth requires change

  • Where your boundaries need strengthening

Sometimes endings are not losses — they are course corrections.

Breaking from old patterns can create space for more progressive, authentic relationships. Aquarius energy asks us to evolve — not to fit in, but to belong as our true selves.

Regulating the Nervous System During Intense Energy: Deep Breaths in your day

With so much initiation energy in the skies, your nervous system may feel heightened.

Eclipses accelerate change. They reveal what has been hidden and move us forward quickly.

Micro-Moment

Take a moment now.

Inhale deeply through your nose.Slowly fill your lungs.

And then exhale longer than you inhale.Let your shoulders soften.Let your jaw release.

Again — a deep breath in.And a slow, extended exhale.

Longer exhales activate the parasympathetic nervous system. They help you integrate change instead of reacting to it.

In our online Qigong healing sessions, we work consciously with lunar energy — allowing the body to harmonize with these cycles rather than resist them. When we regulate the breath, we regulate our response to transformation. Every day, you can set your alarm to two different times: one in the morning and one at night and then take three deep breaths with the light in your lower dantian.

New Moon Intentions: Planting Seeds from the Heart

The New Moon is always a time for planting seeds.

It is a chance to bring in new energy through intentions aligned with your heart.

Ask yourself:

  • Where am I ready for a new beginning?

  • Where do I need stronger boundaries?

  • Where am I being called to show up more authentically in my friendships and communities?

  • What dream is ready to take form?

Breathe in possibility. Exhale what no longer fits.

The New Moon is a time for setting intentions.

Plant them gently.Water them with awareness, and trust the unfolding.
