I am sharing a short meditation I shared in a recent online qigong session. I focused on the kidneys as they are on duty in the winter season and the kidney element is also connected to your ears, reproductive organs, and bladder and is helpful for bone density and bone marrow issues. We worked with the vibrational sound of Chueee (pronounced 'choo-ee' with the choo sound shorter and the accent on the lengthened 'eee'. Chanting can enhance the effectiveness of the healing energy. You can say out loud or just receive the sound.

Try to have a glass of water with you as water is a conductor of energy and have an intention around flow and water before you begin this restorative session.
Other tips for the kidneys in Chinese Medicine:
1) Writing out what you feel grateful for in your day
2) Eating warm, nourishing foods
3) Keeping your head, neck, back and legs warm as kidney channels run through these areas
4) Rubbing your lower back each day
5) Massaging your 'bubbling spring' point at bottom of feet (right under big toe pad and between big toe and second toe) and imagine healng energy from your heart going into this area. Can do at night before bed.
Making the transition into a new season easier with Chinese Medicine.
EnJOY your weekend and keep warm.
