The Quiet Art of Letting Go
This Full Moon, with its partial lunar eclipse in Pisces, brings us to the closing chapter of an eclipse story that has been unfolding along the Virgo–Pisces axis since 2024.
Pisces reminds us that not everything needs to be fixed, understood, or carried forward. Sometimes healing begins when we simply allow something to be released.
In the language of Chinese medicine, this is deeply connected to the Water Element — the energy of the Kidneys and Bladder, our reserves of vital essence, and our relationship with fear. When Water is balanced, we learn to flow around what we cannot change. When it is blocked, we may freeze, resist, or become overwhelmed.
So today, rather than asking What do I need to do? perhaps we can ask:
What am I ready to let go of?
Take one quiet minute.
Close your eyes. Smile gently. Relax your shoulders. Take three slow breaths.
Then simply notice what comes to you.
You don't need to find an answer or figure out how to change it. Just acknowledge what is ready to be released — with compassion, without judgment.
Imagine placing it into the flowing waters of your breath and letting it move on.
Sometimes letting go isn't about losing something.
It is about making space for what is ready to come next.
