Release

Hello Healing Communi-Qi,

Tonight, in our class let us go deeper into energetic and emotional release. We will also do this through the chanting vibration as well.

(Remember, choice is yours, only chant in your mind or use the emotional uplifting words that we work with)

Some of us are feeling more intense emotional charge at this time. Let us connect and release with our breath, visualization, posture and hearts.

Reminders for Healing Benefits:

Deepen your breath and find a relaxing place to be before class 

Glass of water (half room temp/half hot is good for lymph, digestive system)

Sit, stand or lie down depending on how you feel - energy still moves through you.

S.M.I.L.E during movements to ’start my internal Love Engine

Hello Healing Communi-Qi,

This evening we will come together for Restoration and Renewal. As we are in the transition from Fall to winter we want to help

our bodies and minds adapt. 

In Qigong we also focus the Yi (our intent) to direct our Qi (the physical intelligence of the energy) so keep in mind your intention/purpose in your practice. On this note, we will also share a finger growing exercise to practice our Yi.

May it be a powerfully peaceful practice for you.

Moon Meditation

Hello Healing Commun-Qi,

We join with nature’s rhythms. Some of you could be feeling some intensity in the Eclipse Energy.  We certainly feel the darker days and bringing in light is always a welcome plan. If able to do so, please light a candle for tonight’s class. You could even do in dark with candles - choice is yours. Whatever is healing and calming for you.

Tonight we will also focus on a Moon Meditation to work with nature’s rhythms and share a S.F.Q. tip for lower back pain:  

We join in group heart and brain coherence to move the Qi and bring in healing energy for body and mind.

Focus

Hello Healing Communi-Qi,

May you all have felt some time for yourself in nature or stillness or even qigong. It always makes a difference for that ‘quiet moment, that deeper breath’ in your day.

I have to ask for a change this week and, instead of the regular Tuesday night class,  I will share qigong session this Wednesday October 19th at 7:30 p.m. 

I apologize for this schedule change and hope it does not inconvenience too many of you. 

Wishing you a peaceful evening as you move into a new week for FALL. A reminder that no matter how busy or intense it feels,  a focus on a smile, deeper breaths and the  signature emotion of ‘contentment’  for fall can help uplift some challenging emotions.

Relax

Hello Healing Communi-Qi,

Can you take a minute to close your eyes or look at the leaves changing and feel content in your heart?

We focused on this word that is the uplifting, peaceful emotion to bring into this season. What makes you feel content and can you focus upon for more than moment. When we do this we raise our heart coherence and bring in more peace into our hearts.

Large Intestine: (organ on duty in fall)

we can have issues in this area with this organ on duty so Yin/Yang water (half hot/half cold)

Can sooth the digestive tract and lymph/liver system.

S.F.Q. Calming exercise for strengthening lungs too. 

Relax your shoulders. Relax your body. Gently inhale and exhale through your nose.

Your breath should be deep, slow and quiet. Go slowly - don’t work too hard - because that creates stress. 

R-E-L-A-X. Remember your smile.

As you inhale, visualize your breath as a ball of white energy coming in through your nose and going out past your lungs into the lower dantian. See the white ball brighten every time you inhale. Then relax as you exhale.

May you move into your weekend with a little more contentment in your heart.

Self-Love

Hello Healing Communi-Qi,

We move into the season with busy schedules that include some contact with viruses/colds and sometimes stress brings tighter shoulders. We will address this in our exercises tonight.

We will also focus on the importance of self-love and love in general as that is always the focus of qigong and healing in general.

Suggestions for healing experience (choice is yours):

Light a candle

Create a safe space

Glass of yin-yang water or temperature you like

Cameras on or off

Sit, stand or lie down

Open hearts and deeper breaths
