Unconditional Love
Hello Healing Communi-qi,
Wonderful to connect with Healing Communi-Qi Members here this week.
We spoke to the power of Unconditional Love, the Heart Focus and the healing benefits involved.
As Spring Forest Qigong Founder, Master Lin has shared:
"Through your heart you are connected to what Gandhi called "the most powerful force the world possesses, " the power of unconditional love. I encourage you to focus on this power in your heart whenever you are practicing Qigong.”
I will share a small exercise you can do in your day to connect to the heart and re-set any challenges: It is the Heart Lock-In Technique from Heart Math.
Focus your attention in the area of the heart.
Imagine your breath is flowing in and out of your heart or chest area, breathing a little slower and deeper than usual.
Step 2. Activate and sustain a regenerative feeling such as love, appreciation, care or compassion.
Try this a few times a day and feel how it re-sets you. It helps you instate or lock in new patterns.
S.F.Q. Tip for emotional release and strengthening your heart:
Take your middle finger on your left hand and bend it down to your palm. Take your thumb from your right hand
And massage where your finger landed for anywhere from one minute to three minutes. Then do the same on the right hand.
(Feel the self care and release)
The more we focus on our hearts and less on our minds, the more we benefits ourselves and those around us.
I also mentioned a spontaneous energy healing group that can connect virtually whenever someone is in need of loving ener-qi. We can do in class if you want to send me names ahead of time or we can also do outside of class if someone wants to focus on directed energy for a loved one. Heart Energy

Full Moon
Hello Healing Communi-Qi,
In the darker days we bring in more L-I-G-H-T during our healing qigong session. We have a FULL MOON coming up and we tune into nature’s rhythms too.
We will also have a short share on why in Qigong you sometimes call upon a master along with UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

Yi-Intent
Hello Healing Communi-Qi,
We practised using our YI - our intent - to direct our Qi with a finger growing exercise! If anyone wants to practice again, let me know and I’ll send instructions.
A wonderful example of how our mind can support our practice with supportive intent for what experience we want to have.
May your YI be helpful in your day so you can set an intention of what you want to bring into your day! Practice F-E-E-L-I-N-G an uplifting emotion or calming one like Contentment in your day.
We also shared helpful tips for working with this transition energy as we move closer to winter. Some Spring Forest Qigong tips include:
- Drinking warmer water - yin/yang water is half hot/half room temperature
- Keeping kidneys protected (back area) and also cupping the area when feeling cold or fatigue. You can cup up to a minute to three minutes many times a day.
(If you cannot reach high enough, or are not sure where your kidneys are, pat as high up as you can and visualize your kidneys right under where are you patting.)
- Good time to go inward and do more reflective exercises like journalling, mindful movements, deeper breathing
